Celebrity chef Rachael Ray, 56, had a surprise appearance from her husband John M. Cusimano in a new video posted to her Instagram, just weeks after she admitted on her podcast that they have “big shouting matches.”
The hilarious clip was shared on her page this week, as she showed off a cooking ‘fail’ taken from her show, Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes.
In the video, she is seen removing some extremely burnt bread rolls from her kitchen oven, while telling the crew: “You have to stop everything, because this is so funny.”
Her husband, Cusimano, was standing at the kitchen island while trying to open a bottle on the counter.
Her husband of nearly two decades cut a cool, casual figure in a black V-neck T-shirt and a chunky silver watch.
“That’s good,” he replied to his wife, as she glanced at the burnt bread.
Ray burst into a fit of laughter as he showed the camera the charred buns.
“Here’s the super fun part, these were like pure white, and I thought they looked a little weird because they were so soft and fluffy,” she said.

“I put them in the oven after I turned it off and the oven is off,” he continued, laughing.
In the video, Ray admitted that he accidentally burned his buns even though the oven was off.
‘The oven is completely off, there are no lights on there. Who burns bread in an oven that is not even turned on?
In the video’s caption, she cheekily wrote, “Gotta take care of them babe.”
Her husband’s surprise appearance comes just a few months after she admitted that she and her husband had had some arguments.
The famous cook and the lawyer married in Tuscany in 2005 and have been together since then, but have never had children.
He explained that he thinks it’s healthy to get things out sometimes during an October episode of his podcast. I will sleep when I am dead.
Ray said: “It’s very difficult, especially for irascible, creative or loud, shall we say, loud people, to be able to just calm down.”
She confessed: ‘John and I never calmed him down. We have big shouting matches all the time.

In addition to launching her podcast this year, Ray also sparked some health concerns among her fans after she posted a video that appeared to show her slurring her words.
“But I think that’s healthy, I really do, and I don’t trust people who are too quiet… Too quiet scares me.”
‘I’d rather you tell me what you think when you think it, and let it all come to light. Get it out there.’
She explained their dynamic while interviewing author Jenny Mollen, who is married to American Pie and Orange Is The New Black star Jason Biggs.
When Mollen asked who apologizes first after a fight between Ray or her husband, Ray shared, “I don’t know if we ever apologize to each other.”
She explained: ‘Eventually, I’ll pat him on the butt or kiss me on the head, and that’s it. That’s the apology.
“You just understand, ‘It’s okay. I still like your butt.’ ‘I still like your head.’ It’s sort of in that area.’

The video was a preview of her new show, Rachael Ray in Tuscany, and showed her cooking Ossobuco while paying tribute to the late Tony Bennett.
He later admitted that he had recently had “a couple of bad falls.”
