Quinta Brunson reveals she won’t be doing any awards at home because it ‘looks a bit off-putting’

- “I’m going to put them in my office at Warner Bros. to make. I recently signed an overall deal there, so I have an office that I’m just going to fill with trophies,” Quinta said. ‘That’s what I see other executives doing’

Quinta Brunson has dragged home the hardware during this awards season, but admitted she’s still looking for the right display for her trophies.
The 33-year-old Abbott Elementary creator, star and writer told People on Saturday at the Independent Spirit Awards about her plans for her multiple awards.
“I’m going to put them in my office at Warner Bros. to make. I recently signed an overall deal there, so I have an office that I’m just going to fill with trophies,” Quinta said.
“That’s what I see other executives doing,” she added.
“I don’t want them in my house because (that) makes me look a little obnoxious,” Quinta continued. “Once you have multiple wins, I think it’s so wild to just let them sit on a table.”

Quinta was also asked how she keeps her feet on the ground despite all her success, telling People that “family, friends, (and) tragedy” played a role.
“I’ve had a lot of death in my life while all this was going on,” she said. “And that really grounded me. Literally have to work. Having to worry about Abbott’s next season also keeps me grounded.’
Quinta at the Independent Spirit Awards again won for Best Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series.
Abbott Elementary has also recently received awards at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Quinta also attended the Writers Guild of America Awards on Sunday, where Abbott Elementary was nominated for Comedy Series and New Series.
Abbott Elementary premiered on ABC in December 2021 to immediate critical acclaim.
The show was nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards for its first season, winning three, including an Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series award for Quinta.
The series was renewed for a second season in March 2022 which premiered in September.
The series was renewed for a third season in January.
Quinta signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. last August. Television, Abbott Elementary’s co-production studio.
