A person is fighting for his life in the hospital after he was struck by lightning on a suburban street during wild storms.
The Queensland ambulance was called to a street in Brendale, north Brisbane, after a person was struck by lightning around 2:30pm on Sunday.
The person was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.
