SZA has announced she will be bringing her hit tour to Australia following her huge success at the Grammys.

The singer, 34, whose full name is Solána Imani Rowe, has been busy touring the US and UK after releasing her second album SOS.

She has now confirmed that she is bringing her SOS tour to Australia and is set to perform a small series of concerts in Australia and New Zealand.

Tickets go on pre-sale at 2pm on Friday, February 9 for lucky fans who signed up for Live Nation Early Access, before general sale begins at 2pm on February 12.

SZA will kick off her tour on April 15 in Auckland, New Zealand, where she will perform two concerts before traveling to Australia.

SZA has announced she will be bringing her hit tour to Australia following her huge success at the Grammys.

She is scheduled to perform at just five concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and will be her first time in Australia since performing at the Splendor music festival in 2019.

Fans were quick to share their excitement at the news, while others shared their stress at only receiving a notice one day before the pre-sale.

One wrote: “This Thursday morning I’m crying the happiest tears.”

Another said: “These American artists want us to go bankrupt in April.”

A third wrote: “Same girl crying and so stressed I need at least a month’s notice.”

Another added: “You can’t just give a day’s notice for pre-sales, come on.”

The exciting news comes after SZA’s great success at the Grammy Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of 2024, with nine nominations.

She won Best R&B Song for her hit Snooze, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Phoebe Bridgers for Ghost in the Machine, as well as Best Progressive R&B Album for SOS.

However, it missed out on Album of the Year, as Taylor Swift took it home for Midnights.

Her fans claimed that SZA should have won Album of the Year instead of Taylor.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, the singer’s fans flocked to the comments to rage that her esteemed gong was ‘stolen’.

Some wrote: ‘sza rejected as #GRAMMYS album of the year’; ‘SZA was robbed omfg.’

Drake, who was not present at the ceremony, also apparently dissed Taylor’s win when he took to Instagram to reshare his iconic 2019 acceptance speech after receiving a Grammy five years ago.

SZA won three Grammys this year after being the most nominated artist with nine nominations, although her fans were angry that she was robbed of Album of the Year when Taylor Swift won.

Along with the post, he wrote: “All you amazing artists remember that this show is not the facts, it is just the opinion of a group of people whose name is being kept secret (you can literally Google it).

“Congratulations to anyone who won anything in hip hop, but this show doesn’t dictate anything in our world.”

Other nominees for Best Album were Oliva Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, Janelle Monae and Boygenius.
