An Aussie dad had a priceless reaction to a venomous red-bellied black snake that slithered past him on a camping trip.
Ross, a man from Queensland, and his son were camping in the outback when an unexpected visitor decided to crash their father-son trip.
His son captured the terrifying moment when the snake slithered through their camp with the footage uploaded to TikTok.
“Don’t move daddy, don’t move. It just slides past you,’ said the son.

Ross is seen rocking a VB and watching the river while sitting motionless in his camping chair.
The snake moves slowly through the grass and away from it while the father and son remain completely still.
Ross told 7News that he didn’t hear the snake rustling in the direction of his camp chair, but he managed to remain calm until he left.
Then he jumped up and “got out of there.”

He didn’t move an inch, possibly didn’t even blink, and certainly didn’t turn to make eye contact with the snake
TikTok users were quick to share their shock and disbelief.
Several praised the father for maintaining his sobriety and not overreacting to the snake’s presence or startling the reptile.
‘Plot twist. Dad had no plans to move,” one person wrote.
“Dad doesn’t care much as long as he doesn’t try to squeeze his beer,” added another.
A TikToker joked that the man’s father had been training for years for a similar situation.
‘Dad understood the assignment. In fact, he “didn’t move” for years in training for this exact scenario.’
