The mother of the Queen’s grandchildren has revealed that Camilla is an ‘incredible’ grandmother.
London-based Sara Parker Bowles, 50, who shares Lola, 16, and Freddy, 13, with the queen’s son Tom, described her former mother-in-law as an “incredible” grandmother in itv last week.
Fashion editor Sara, who split from Tom in 2018, told Lorraine’s show that Camilla takes a hands-on approach when it comes to her grandchildren.

The presenter asked: ‘What kind of grandmother is she?’
Sara responded with a warm smile on her face, saying, ‘She’s an amazing grandmother. She’s really practical, and she knows, she really likes it.
He wants to know everything they’re into.
Camilla’s love of jewelry has been hotly debated of late, and it turns out that her passion for jewelry has been passed down to her granddaughter Lola.
Sara added: ‘She (Camilla) loves jewelry and is very knowledgeable about it and Lola is also obsessed. So, they always talk about it.
Earlier in the conversation, the pair also chatted about Camilla’s evolving style.
Asked if she thought Camilla’s style had changed over the years, Sara said, “I think she’s having more fun with it.” And I think that really shows that she has evolved naturally.
“And she’s a perfect example of someone who fits her style and feels confident.”

Camilla has five grandchildren in all, including a set of twins, Gus and Louis Lopes (pictured), who are brothers to Eliza Lopes.
They stick to what they know. And I think that’s a really good way to do it.
The fashion editor added: “I love it when she wears black. I think she looks amazing in all black.
And I thought she looked amazing in her Dior suit at Ascot earlier this year. Yeah, that was a real winner.
Just like Sara said, Camilla is renowned for her love of jewellery, and was recently seen sporting a £4,500 Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet when attending the Sandringham Flower Show with her husband King Charles.
Camilla was previously praised by former Vogue editor Suzy Menkes, who commented on the “joy of royalty in wearing jewellery”, while criticizing Kate Middleton, for being a “disappointment” when it comes to her gems.

The bracelet Camilla is wearing is one of the many pieces she owns from Van Cleef & Arpels.
She seems to prefer the Alhambra range, which encompasses lucky clover-style motifs, owning multiple pieces from the line including bracelets, earrings and necklaces in a variety of colours.
And the queen consort has been photographed wearing the pieces at various events, opting for a green Alhambra necklace with matching earrings when she attended a charity launch at the V&A in 2017.
