The 52-year-old wife of Jordanian King Abdullah II shared the photo with her 7.3 million Instagram followers.

Meanwhile, it was also announced on Twitter by the Royal Hashemite Court that the wedding of Rania’s son, Crown Prince Hussein, 28, and his fiancé Rajwa Khaled is scheduled for June 1, 2023.

Hussein proposed to Rajwa in August, with the Jordanian palace confirming news of the engagement.

The post received 244,000 likes and many comments wishing the family well. One of them wrote that the family was “cute and wonderful.” Another wrote: “Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family.”

The photo comes alongside other happy news – with Jordan’s Royal Hashemite Court confirming the Crown Prince’s wedding date on Twitter.

It read: ‘The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that the wedding of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif will take place on 1 June 2023 #jordan.’

The Crown Prince proposed to Rajwa at her father’s house in Riyadh in August, in the presence of both families.

Rajwa is the daughter of Saudi businessman Khaled Al Saif, CEO of the private Al Saif Group, and his wife Azza Al Sudairi.

She has studied in both Saudi Arabia and Los Angeles and holds a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in the Californian city.
