Queen Máxima of the Netherlands appeared in high spirits today as she opened a new clinic in the south of the Netherlands.

The 53-year-old monarch looked chic in a burnt orange ensemble to officially open the new Endometriosis Outpatient Clinic at Reiner de Graaf Hospital in Delft.

The mother of three sported a long-sleeved ruffled blouse and a pair of high-waisted pants in a matching hue.

She accessorized with matching chrome heels and a thick velvet headband, enhancing her sophisticated look.

Her long blonde hair was straight and sleek and Máxima opted for a glamorous makeup look that accentuated her eyes.

The royal was all smiles as she chatted to children outside the hospital after accepting a bouquet of white flowers ahead of the event.

Máxima opened the new clinic, which will treat outpatients with endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows in other places, including the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Endometriosis affects the physical and mental health of one in ten women in the UK from puberty to the menopause, although the impact can last for life, according to Endometriosis UK.

This comes after Queen Máxima joined her family to watch the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix in August.

The royal, 53, looked effortlessly chic in a fern-green blouse and summery white skirt embroidered with a leaf print as she stepped out at Circuit Park in Zandvoort.

She paired her ensemble with a khaki trench coat that featured a floral print on the back (as the weather was relatively mild at 18 degrees) and also donned white open-toed sandals.

Maxima chose to accessorize her outfit with elegant white flower dangle earrings, along with a silver diamond bracelet and other trinkets.

The mother of three opted for a natural look, with a touch of foundation and concealer and sporting her signature smoky eyeshadow.

Queen Máxima was also accompanied by her husband, King Willem-Alexander, 57, who looked dapper in his matching tan suit and trousers.

She paired the outfit with a smart light blue shirt that she tucked in and also wore highly polished brown leather shoes.

In one snap, the King can be seen enjoying a glass of champagne as he watched the drivers race around the track.

In a very close race, British driver Lando Norris won the Grand Prix for McLaren.

Most of the 105,000 spectators who gathered cheered on their own hero, the biggest star of Dutch sport, Max Verstappen. However, he was unable to beat Norris and finished second.

Ferrari’s Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc took home the bronze trophy.

Her daughter Princess Alexia was also present, although her sisters Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, or Princess Ariane are not believed to have joined the family on the outing.

The 19-year-old rocked a simple yet sophisticated ensemble, featuring a black knitted top with asymmetrical shoulders teamed with a pair of sleek navy trousers and a pair of comfy white sneakers.

She opted for natural makeup like her mother and wore her fiery red hair up with a wavy blow-dryer.

Alexia seemed engrossed in the race, filming the drivers racing around the track with her smartphone while chatting with her father.

The teenager beamed as she posed for photos alongside her parents at the event and also alongside her cousin, Count Claus.

Princess Margriet, 81, also attended the event alongside her family and wore a pair of red capri pants, a white jacket and an orange scarf, along with a pair of stylish round sunglasses.

Princess Margriet is the sister of the former Queen Beatrix, which means she is the aunt of King Willem-Alexander.

Princess Marilene and her husband, Prince Maurice of Orange-Nassau, cousin of King Willem-Alexander, also attended the race together with their 21-year-old son, Lucas van Vollenhoven.
