The Argentine-born monarch, 53, was always elegant as she attended the launch of the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, where she was greeted by young fans and dancers.
Even though a torrential downpour threatened to take away the best of the day, the effervescent royal appeared in an elegant dark gray cape and matching suede hat while an attendant protected her with an umbrella.
Known for her love of bold prints and bold colors, the gray palette was a marked departure from her usual style, yet the fashionista never failed to turn heads.
Accompanying the look was a shimmering green satin shirt which she paired with gray suede high heels.
