Queen Mary and King Frederick X of Denmark posed for selfies with locals as they continued their official visit to Greenland today.
The royal couple appeared in high spirits as they arrived in Attu, where they were welcomed by village council chairman Per Ole Frederiksen, who grew up in the town.
The small community, with approximately 170 inhabitants, is located on a smaller island of the same name in the municipality of Qeqertalik.
The Australian-born queen, 52, looked chic in an all-brown ensemble, complete with a knitted poncho and matching beret.
Meanwhile, Frederik also opted for a brown element in his outfit with a chocolate-coloured windbreaker jacket, which he teamed with a pair of bottle-green corduroy trousers.

The royal mother of four looked cheerful as she stopped to take a selfie with locals who accompanied her to her village while holding a Greenland flag.
The couple also received gifts during a Greenlandic tradition called kaffemik, which marks a special social occasion.
Once inside, Mary took off her outerwear and opened the gift, revealing her elegant and warm light green knitted jumper. Meanwhile, Frederik quickly opened his gift, which looked like a large animal skull.
This comes after Queen Mary and King Frederick X of Denmark looked like a happy couple when they visited Greenland over the weekend.
Accompanied by their two youngest children, the couple looked in high spirits as they visited a whale-watching viewing point with a microphone in Qeqertarsuaq.
Although Crown Prince Christian, 18, who celebrated his school graduation last week, and Princess Isabella, 17, did not attend, Mary and Frederik’s younger children, twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, both 13, were present.
Mary made the outdoor look chic in a knee-length navy double-breasted coat with a vest underneath and maroon winter accessories including a hat and scarf.
She appeared in a very good mood as she held Frederik’s hand while exploring.

The royal mother of four, 52, looked sophisticated in an all-brown ensemble for the occasion, complete with a beret.
The 52-year-old Australian queen styled her sleek brown hair in loose waves for the outing.
Frederik also wrapped up warm for the occasion, donning a pair of green patterned trousers with a royal blue sweatshirt and velvet vest.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Josephine showed off her style prowess in a chic khaki ensemble. The young royal also added a heather grey beanie for extra warmth.
Meanwhile, Vincent opted for a similarly coloured dark green outfit, completed with a contrasting £155 beanie, from Italian brand Stone Island.
During the trip, Mary showed her sporty side and played football with local children before being offered a warm hug by a little girl.
This comes after Queen Mary, 52, picked up her phone and smiled as she took pictures of Prince Christian, 18, in a procession with his classmates as he celebrated reaching the end of his school studies.
Dressed in a chic striped blazer and accessorized with wayfarer sunglasses, Mary certainly stood out as one of the most stylish mothers in the crowd, but other than that, no one would have been able to tell she was one of the most powerful women in the nation as she joined other parents of Christian’s peers in celebrating.
She was joined at Copenhagen’s Ordrup Gymnasium by King Frederik, Princess Elizabeth and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent to celebrate the graduation of their eldest son and heir to the throne before he leaves for university in the autumn.

During the tour, Mary and Frederik walked through the village of Attu with locals who grew up in the village.
Last week, Mary and Frederik attended their son’s official graduation ceremony and spoke of their pride in interviews with local media.
The king is now likely to attend university in the autumn and complete his military training, following in his father’s footsteps.
A similar situation is that of Princess Leonor, heir to the Spanish throne, who, upon finishing school, began three years of intensive training in defence.
Two years ago, Prince Christian was expelled from the elite Herlufsholm boarding school after a documentary revealed allegations of sexual and physical abuse at the institution. His sister Isabella was also due to attend, but her parents expelled her too.
