In the navy! Queen Letizia of Spain shines in a knit dress as she attends the Bicentenary of the Ateneo de Madrid
The Spanish royals came out in full force today to attend the bicentenary of the Ateneo de Madrid.
Queen Letizia, 50, and King Felipe VI of Spain, 55, smiled as they greeted guests at the event.
Then the members of the royal family sat in the front row to listen to the speeches that had been prepared.
Ateneo De Madrid was founded at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
During this time, political, social and cultural turmoil took place between 1808 and 1814 when the Napoleonic invasion took place.

The elegant long-sleeved dress — which retails for €229 and is made of lightweight 100% merino wool — falls just below the knees in a midi length.
Letizia’s fans might recognize the dress, because she wore it before at the beginning of March for “The Talent Tour” in Malaga.
The Queen paired it with dangling white flower earrings and a simple black belt.
She opted for onyx heels and a black leather handbag featuring gold metal details.
