Queen Letizia of Spain looked elegant in a green suit on her somber return to work at the Zarzuela Palace after two weeks of devastating floods in Valencia.
The Queen of Europe, 52, met with Code.org representatives at the royal residence in Madrid to discuss the importance of teaching computer science in schools, especially to girls.
The nonprofit organization hosts the annual Hour of Code, a movement in which 10 percent of students around the world code for an hour during Computer Science Education Week in December.
Afterwards, the royal mother of two sat down with members of the Spanish Porphyria Association.
The royal spoke with the president of the association, Fide Mirón, about the rare disease suffered by Congenital Erythropoietic Porphyria.

For her day of packed meetings at the Zarzuela Palace, Letizia wore an elegant suit from the Spanish brand Bimba y Lola.
The muted green jacket and high-waisted pleated pants, which she has owned since 2021, are staples of Letizia’s wardrobe.
The elegant royal wore a black blouse under her jacket and was adorned with gold star-shaped earrings.
Letizia completed her ensemble with a pair of black heels from her shoe designer Magrit.
Spanish outlet El Mundo previously reported that the Queen has chronic metatarsalgia or, in layman’s terms, pain in the sole of the foot.
After suffering a broken toe earlier this year, low heels will likely be more comfortable for Letizia than her high-heeled alternatives.
With her brunette hair falling just below her shoulders, the Queen kept today’s look simple with subtle makeup consisting of light brown eyeshadow and a sheer pink gloss on her lips.
Letizia’s meetings come just hours before her husband, King Felipe, 56, returns to Valencia to visit the armed forces involved in rescue efforts in the flooded region.

The brutal weather conditions have already claimed more than 200 lives.
On November 3, the Kings of Spain traveled to Paiporta – one of the towns most affected by the torrential rainfall – to pay tribute to the victims and offer their condolences to those affected by the floods.
Torrents of murky water had destroyed the city’s infrastructure in the worst disaster of its kind to hit Spain in decades.
Letizia appeared to cry while talking to a woman in Paiporta, while the Queen put her hands around her shoulders.
She also comforted groups of sobbing local women affected by the flash floods and gave them hugs as they explained their situation to the Queen.
Meanwhile, her husband, King Philip, was jeered and had dirt thrown at him by angry locals during the visit.
The monarch was pelted with mud and objects such as drink cans by angry survivors of the deadly floods as he walked through the ruined city.

Booers also took aim at Letizia, as a video showed the Queen breaking down in tears with mud on her face, as her entourage helped her walk through the busy streets.
King Felipe will return to Valencia today to visit the Jaime I Base of Bétera and talk with members of the army and air force, as well as the Military Emergency Unit.
Next, the monarch will travel to the port of Valencia to visit the Galicia, an amphibious ship that has arrived with members of the army to help with the damage caused by the flood.
Your trip will conclude with a tour of the Valencia Fairgrounds where the army’s main logistics base has been installed.
But the King is expected to return to the flood-affected region next week with his wife Letizia by his side once again.
It has been reported that they will visit Chiva, a visit that was on their original agenda before it was scrapped due to the hostile reception in Paiporta.
