The Migos star, 29 – who said goodbye to the fellow rapper, 27 last month – claimed he didn’t offend her after a clip of the then-couple engaged in a physical altercation from last year emerged.

The My Type hitmaker also addressed the dispute in an official statement, stressing that the pair reconciled after the fight, blaming other issues for their recent breakup.

Saweetie, real name Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, said: ‘This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have since reconciled and moved past this particular disagreement, there were just too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since then continued.

“I kindly ask everyone to respect my privacy during this time.”

It is alleged that the LAPD is investigating the case as a possible domestic violence incident.

Police officers reportedly want to meet the performers separately after detectives watched the video from the security camera showing the former couple struggling for a Call Of Duty box TMZ

The incident could be considered an act of domestic violence in which both couples are wrong, according to sources.

The video was shot in a North Hollywood apartment complex where the best friend star lived, and begins with Saweetie swinging towards Quavo.

Before dodging her blows, the Bad And Boujee rapper drops the orange video game case, which she grabs before attacking her and pulling her into the elevator.

The pair scramble over the box before Quavo yanks Saweetie’s arm and pulls her to the ground.

He gets up as the 5’7 ” singer appears to remain on the floor of the elevator, possibly injured.

Quavo – who is 6’2 ” – is ready and adjusts his bag while refusing to shake hands with the still-grounded Saweetie.

The elevator door opens on another floor, revealing the legs of someone waiting, who then decides not to enter.

The Georgia resident picks up his backpack and box as the doors close and they go up another floor where he gets out trying to pull herself off the ground via a nearby handrail.

He then looks at the rapper again and puts the orange box down to keep the elevator door from closing, while he appears to be talking to his partner, who, after a few more moments, finally stabilizes and hangs away.
