The Doha-based airline picked up a trio of gongs at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (Apex) 2020 Passenger Choice Awards, which were held in Los Angeles on Monday.

Other winners were Emirates for its in-flight entertainment and Delta Air Lines for its on-board wifi.

The awards acknowledge & # 39; excellence in seating comfort, cab service, food and drink, entertainment and wifi & # 39 ;.

They are based on passenger feedback collected through Apex & collaboration with TripIt, an app for organizing travel.

On a 5-star scale, between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019, more than one million flights were assessed by passengers from nearly 600 airlines around the world.

The passengers gave anonymous assessments in the five subcategories.

The award ceremony, organized by Brian Kelly, CEO and founder of The Points Guy, took place during Apex expo, an exclusive event for members attended by more than 5,000 industry professionals, including representatives from more than 125 airlines.
