A beloved family puppy fights for life, after a stray dog chased her into the street where a car deliberately ran down her.
Savarna Russell, 18, said her six-month-old staff Sarabi was playing in her yard in Whalan, western Sydney, when the other dog attacked.
& # 39; She has no ugly bones on her body, so she tried to get away instead of fighting back … they broke through a fence and ended up on the road, & # 39; said Russell.
Sarabi was taken to a vet in Mt Druitt with extensive internal bleeding, severe lung damage, a broken left leg and hip and missing teeth
& # 39; A driver who was speeding in a school zone deliberately hit both dogs and sent our sweet girl across the street. & # 39;
Mrs. Russell said another driver had told her that the driver of the 4WD who hit them had driven on their path and then drove off without stopping.
The witness then pulled the badly wounded Sarabi off the road while the other dog got up and jumped up.
& # 39; My big girl has wiped out most of the blow, she is now at the vet's fighting for her life & # 39 ;, Russell said.
She said that her four little brothers, 12, 11, 10, and 3, asked where their dog was and she was afraid that the puppy would not survive.

& # 39; I do everything I can to save her, she has been through this dog a lot. She is part of our family, & Russell said.
& # 39; Who is the heartless bastard who touched my dog and let her die … I now have to explain to my little brothers why our dog is not coming home and may not survive.
& # 39; Thanks to the people who did stop and try to help and calm down my girl, I appreciate it so and because of you and your beautiful hearts she has a chance to recover. & # 39;
