PSG gets ‘guarantees’ from Neymar and Kylian Mbappé that they won’t push for Real Madrid’s transfer in the summer
- Real Madrid has been linked to PSG stars Neymar, 27 and Kylian Mbappe
- Zinedine Zidane would prefer a move for French prodigy Mbappé, 20
- But reportedly, PSG is assured that neither player will push for a summer exit
Paris Saint-Germain would be sure to keep star attackers Neymar and Kylian Mbappe out of Real Madrid’s clutches this summer.
Both players are linked to the Spanish giants, with a recent report from AS claim that Real is chasing Frenchman Mbappe more than Neymar after Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu manager’s job.
But according to ESPN, PSG is assured by the people around Mbappé and Neymar that they will not insist on a transfer during the summer period.
Kylian Mbappe, who signed autographs for French fans on Monday, is wanted by Real Madrid
Neither player has a release clause in their contract. And PSG is considering selling neither for anything less than the current world transfer record – held by Neymar after moving £ 198m from Barcelona in August 2017.
However, exits from the Parc des Princes are likely at the end of the season. Giovani Lo Celso, Jese Rodriguez and Grzegorz Krychowiak are currently on loan and can be sold permanently.
PSG have again dominated French Ligue 1 this season – leading Lille in second place with 20 points and holding a match.

But a shock defeat by Manchester United in the Champions League has raised questions about the mentality of the team.
Neymar missed both legs of the Champions League clash with United because of a metatarsal that kept him out since January.
Mbappé thrived in the absence of the Brazilian and played as the focal point of PSG’s attack. The 20-year-old is PSG’s top scorer of this period with 26 goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly prefers a move for Mbappé, but player can stay
