Police are hunting intruders who reportedly stole more than £2.5 million worth of valuables from the holiday home in Ibiza of Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti.
The burglars broke into the property in the early hours of Sunday morning, which according to local press belongs to former Brazilian international Ronaldo Nazario, while the footballer and his family were away.
In addition to cash, the criminals allegedly took watches and jewelry.
The break-in was reported to police on Sunday.
It is under investigation by the Guardia Civil, although no police were available for comment Monday night.
The house where Verratti stayed is said to be in Cala Jondal in southern Ibiza, where Prince William and Kate enjoyed the sun at the home of Kate’s millionaire uncle, Maison de Bang Bang.

There is no official comment yet from Italian international Verratti, who has not published his trip to Ibiza on social media.
His French model wife Jessica Aidi has posted photos and video footage of the Balearic Islands with ex-Miss France contestant Charlotte Mint.
Last week, Miss Aidi posted a photo of herself in a bikini in a tropical destination with the caption ‘Ibiza vibe’.
