PSG star Kylian Mbappe shouts ‘I’m staying here’ after scoring on his return to the squad amid interest from Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia
Kylian Mbappe has appeared to confirm his intention to stay at Paris Saint-Germain after scoring on his return to the side.
The French superstar came off the bench and scored from the penalty spot as Luis Enrique’s side were held 1-1 by Toulouse.
Mbappe happily jumped over the billboards and celebrated in front of PSG fans before shouting “I’m staying here, I’m staying here.”
Mbappe was not included in the squad for PSG’s goalless draw with Lorient on the opening matchday of the season amid uncertainty over his future at the club.
The striker had been forced to train with the club’s ‘undesirables’ away from the main squad after refusing to sign a contract extension, with his current deal having less than a year remaining.

The Frenchman’s future is in doubt with Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia interested
Mbappe did not take part in PSG’s pre-season tour of Asia and there had been suggestions he would be forced to stay away from the main squad for the foreseeable future.
His shirts were also removed from the club’s store, as the Parisian hierarchy tried to force the 24-year-old to agree to a permanent deal or a loan that would see the club earn a return to their key asset.
However, he was back in first-team training last weekend and made his first appearance of the season on Saturday night.
Earlier this summer, Mbappe turned down the chance to join Al-Hilal after the Saudi side made a world record bid of £259million.
It has been suggested that Mbappe could join Real Madrid as a free agent next summer, with PSG keen to avoid such a scenario so they can receive a hefty fee for him.
After ‘positive talk’, the French superstar is back in the fold although his future at the club remains uncertain with Real Madrid set to launch a bid.
