The Premier League leaders took control of their semi-final tie with a massive 2-1 win in Paris
The Parisians fell apart after halftime when City took control, with Idrissa Gueye getting his marching order for a horror tackle on Ilkay Gundogan, and Florenzi admitting Mauricio Pochettino’s side had lost their way.
“We’ve lost our shape, it’s not like us,” he said Sky Sport Italy. ‘We are 22 talented players on the field, it is a 90 minute battle.
‘The first goal was a bit happy, the second went through the wall. Details make the difference at this level.
“We’re only halfway through the battle, though, they haven’t won the war yet.”

PSG have been strong on the road in the Champions League this season, taking big wins to Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Florenzi hopes his side will be able to maintain their strong performance outside the French capital next week
‘We hope to continue the trend of away wins. It won’t be easy, but this team has what it takes to win in Manchester. We need eleven warriors ready to die on the field. ‘
Florenzi’s sentiment was echoed by captain Marquinhos, who had put the hosts ahead with a brilliant header from a corner from Angel di Maria.
The French side has taken a big scalp on the road this season and will have to do it again
“We need personality, he who doesn’t believe we can, shouldn’t even make the trip there,” he said. RMC Sport.
‘We need a warrior mindset, do whatever it takes to get through it. We are very close, we should not doubt it now.
‘We got two really stupid goals, these are details, this is the Champions League. We need to better manage these small details and stay strong in target situations.
‘It’s true we were too far back in the second half, we couldn’t find a way out of our half, the City team was more aggressive, they played higher. We still have 90 minutes, but we’ll have to do better to get to the final. ‘
