PSG are ‘plotting for Man City star Bernardo Silva’ with the Portuguese international – under contract until 2025 – seen as ‘Lionel Messi’s replacement’
Paris Saint-Germain plan to move Bernardo Silva from Manchester City this summer, according to reports.
The Portuguese forward has two years left on his contract with the Etihad, but could end his six-year stay at the club this summer, if reported interest from PSG sees an offer materialize.
The versatile Silva – capable of playing in a number of roles in midfield and on the forward line – is seen as the ideal replacement for Lionel Messi.
The Argentinian legend has confirmed he will leave the Parc des Princes after just two seasons, and join David Beckham’s Inter Miami in MLS.
French newspaper Le Parisien report that the 28-year-old could arrive in the summer transfer window to bolster the ranks of the Ligue 1 champions in the absence of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

With Lionel Messi on his way to Inter Miami, PSG are keen to bring in replacements in attack
Le Parisien’s report claims that PSG chief Luis Campos has described Silva as the club’s key target in the off-season.
The French titans plan to take on Silva in a devastating front three featuring their talisman Kylian Mbappe and another priority summer signing, Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
PSG have been quick to clinch deals already this season and have bolstered their attacking midfield ranks by bringing in former Real Madrid star Marco Asensio on a free deal.
However, City are unlikely to be willing to part with their star easily, given his outstanding performance throughout his time at the club.
Under Pep Guardiola Silva flourished, becoming one of the best attacking midfield talents in the world, providing 55 goals and 59 assists in 305.
And with two years left on his contract, it could take a significant fee to persuade the club to let him go to a club they are likely to see as a Champions League rival next season.
The 28-year-old will be preparing to lift this season’s prize against Inter Milan on Saturday afternoon in Istanbul, for a chance to score a historic treble.
