Italy midfielder Marco Verratti has extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain by three years until 2024, the French champions revealed on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Ligue 1 club in 2012, is the only PSG player to have shared in all their trophy success since Qatar Sports Investment took over in 2011.
In all he has scored nine goals and provided 48 assists in 290 appearances for the club.

‘I am happy to continue my wonderful adventure with Paris Saint-Germain,’ Veratti wrote on Instagram. ‘I will continue to give everything to win together!’
PSG currently sit eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1 after 11 matches. They also lead their Champions League group by five points after winning all three of their opening three games.
Veratti has started 12 of his side’s 15 games this season, contributing two assists.
