Paris Saint-Germain has contacted Cristiano Ronaldo’s camp about a possible summer move from Juventus, according to reports in Spain.
The 36-year-old is believed to be open to leaving the Serie A giants this season after being criticized from some sides for their disappointing campaign, in which they nevertheless won the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.
The Portuguese star scored 36 goals in all competitions, but Juventus surrendered their nine-year stranglehold on the Scudetto to Inter Milan and required victory on the final day of the season to qualify for the Champions League.

Ronaldo has been criticized from some sections this season despite Juve winning two trophies
A humiliating exit in Europe in the last 16 by Porto exacerbated their shortcomings this season, and saw Andrea Pirlo replaced by former boss Massimiliano Allegri after the end of the season.
And Spanish outlet AS claiming that with the Italian poised to let Ronaldo leave the Allianz Stadium, PSG have taken a first step towards trying to sign the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star.
The report adds that the Ligue 1 side is looking at Ronaldo as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, with the 22-year-old only having a year left at the Parc des Princes and struggling to strike a new deal in the French capital.

The same outlet therefore claims that the 2018 World Cup winner is one step closer to Real Madrid fans, with the departure of compatriot Zinedine Zidane not affecting their interest.
The report suggests PSG had also thought of Lionel Messi, but reports in Spain claim the Argentine is on the brink of signing a new two-year deal with Barcelona.
However, Sports post understands that while the Catalan giants are in the process of closing a new deal for the 33-year-old Argentine, there are no guarantees that he will remain at the Camp Nou despite Sergio Aguero’s arrival with a free one.
PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, however, is said to be equally pleased with Ronaldo, believing he can team up with Neymar to help the club win the hitherto elusive Champions League crown.
PSG also looked at Lionel Messi, but the Argentinian now seems to be staying with Barcelona
Brazilian star Neymar confirmed last month that he wanted to connect with his Portuguese counterpart, telling GQ France: “I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I have already played with great players like Messi and” [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven’t played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet.’
Meanwhile, Allegri is believed to prefer to keep the services of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata in Turin, but Juventus will still demand compensation between £21m and £26m for Ronaldo.
The Portuguese has scored 101 goals in 133 appearances for Juventus since coming from Madrid in 2018.
