Sony’s Days of Play sales event has discounted many games, and today there are price cuts on subscriptions that will help you get more enjoyment out of your console. at Newegg, a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus costs $44, lower than Sony’s usual price of $60. It’s just a dollar more at Amazon, if you prefer to shop there. This service allows you to play online multiplayer games and is eligible to download some free games every month.

With PlayStation Plus, PS4 and PS5 gamers can play online games and receive free games every month, along with discounts in the PS Store.

Another useful service that is more affordable these days is PlayStation Now, which is basically Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass. It allows you to download some games in the library, while for others it resorts to cloud game streaming. That service is usually $60, but Amazon has it available for $45. One of the most attractive features of PS Now is that you can play on a PlayStation console, as well as on PC via an app.
