Proof Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are still together – despite groom’s bombshell decision to ‘leave’ the show at wedding ceremony

On Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight Australia, Bryce Ruthven made the shocking decision to “stay” in the experiment, after choosing to “leave” first.

However, it seems his swinging moods didn’t affect the 31-year-old’s romance with his ‘wife’ Melissa Rawson, 31, as the pair were still going strong on Sunday.

A fan spotted the couple together at the Melbourne MCG, apparently after catching an AFL match.

In a photo submitted to the Instagram account MAFS Gossip, the couple is shown exiting the stadium side by side but not holding hands or sharing any affection.

The outing suggests that the pair have stuck together despite their ups and downs.

During Monday’s episode, radio host Bryce left fans in shock when he changed his decision at the last minute.

After Melissa revealed her decision to “stay,” the whole room remained silent as Bryce looked dissatisfied and uncomfortable at the prospect of revealing his decision.

He opened his card and said, “Actually, I’ve decided to leave. But then I crossed it out. ‘

“It was tough,” Bryce went on. ‘It hurt me to write it down. But I got to a point where … I had to cross it out and stay because I’m not done with this relationship. ‘

Trying to explain his decision, Bryce blurted out, “I’m writing leave was to get her out of a toxic environment.”

He added, “It was I who looked after her interests, and for once in my life, not selfish.”

After hearing his decision, a visibly upset Melissa said to the camera, ‘I had no idea that leave would even be considered. I’m still a little confused. ‘

Married At First Sight continues on Channel Nine on Monday at 7:30 PM
