Cyberpunk 2077 expansion: important details
The trailer for the upcoming expansion has been announced by Keanu Reeves. The actor returns in the extended version of the game in the role of Johnny Silverhand.
In addition to Reeves, “Phantom Liberty” will also feature another movie star, Idris Elba. The British actor will play the completely new character Agent Solomon Reed.
The expansion will be the last project to be developed on CD Projekt’s RED Engine technology. For upcoming developments, the company plans to move to the third-party Unreal Engine.
Dog Town: The new area of the expansion
According to the trailer, the expansion’s new area looks huge and densely populated. According to a report from VGC, CD Projekt claims the expansion will feature improved enemy AI, overhauled vehicle gameplay, and new player activities.
Instead of offering stat-based changes that are in the original game, the developer has also changed everything Skill trees to focus on giving players actual skills to use in the game. For example, the extended version includes a new sprint move that allows players to deflect bullets or perform executions. Modifiers around each skill allow players to further enhance those skills.
