After walking the catwalk during the Saturday show, Priyanka paid tribute to the late Indian fashion designer Wendell Rodricks.
Wendell suffered a heart attack at his home in Goa and was declared dead on February 12 at the age of 59.
“It only applies to such an evening, in the presence of so many fixtures from the Indian fashion industry, that we remember Wendell Rodricks,” Priyanka said.
“He was a pioneer, he was a visionary of Indian fashion and he will be missed forever and ever,” she added Blenders Pride posted on Facebook.

She was accompanied on stage by part of the creme de la creme of the Indian couture industry, including Manish Malhotra, Anju Modi and Namrata Joshipura.
The group included the double act of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who designed the look of Priyanka for one of the functions prior to her marriage to Nick Jonas.

The day between the two weddings, she attended her Mehendi in a gown by Abu and Sandeep, who are known for their work on Bollywood films such as Devdas.
The Mehendi is usually held the day before a wedding, when the bride, as well as female guests at the wedding, have henna tattoos on their hands.
Last month, Wendell publicly criticized Priyanka’s meat-flashing Grammy dress, with a neckline popping up to her waist.

He joked that her “neckline goes all the way from LA to Cuba,” and claimed that “there is an age to wear some clothes.” Men with huge bellies are not allowed to wear tight T-shirts. The same applies to women who wear minis after a certain age. “
Although his remarks caused a bit of controversy, Mother Madhu of Priyanka said after his death: “We don’t hold a grudge against Wendell. Disagreements happen and you shouldn’t keep it forever. “
She pointed out that Priyanka and Wendell were working together on her critically acclaimed film Fashion from 2008, which exposed the dark side of Bombay’s modeling industry.
