Prisoner falls through ceiling while trying to escape from prison after being arrested for attacking the 85-year-old man
Video surveillance from the Montgomery County prison in Ohio shows the shocking moment when a female prisoner dived through the roof as she tried to escape from the prison’s waiting room.
Jessica Boomershine, 42, waited on January 21 for a lawsuit sued for breaking into the home of an 85-year-old man in Miamisburg and attacking him.
The security footage shows her attempt to flee as she climbs onto a chair and pulls herself into the roof of the waiting room. It sinks below her and she immediately falls back to the ground.
Boomershine emerged unharmed from the failed escape attempt, but is now confronted with further allegations of escape and destruction of property.

Jessica Boomershine, 42, waited for a lawsuit at Montgomery Sheriff’s Office on January 21 when she tried to flee but rushed through the ceiling to prevent injury
Boomershine was arrested on January 16 for breaking into the home of an 85-year-old man who gave her money when she told him she was homeless but would no longer give her
In the video, Boomershine reaches up to the ceiling while fellow prisoners watch and a woman in a separate cell in the background welcomes her.
There is a 30-second pause assuming she was moving a ceiling tile before she started dragging herself up.
While she manages to pull herself into the roof, correction officers begin to enter the room, but after a few seconds she collides and takes part of the ceiling with her.
The officers hurry to grab and hold her legs while losing her grip on the ceiling, hitting a garbage can before falling to the floor and being held again.

Boomershine was first arrested with her boyfriend Billy Joe Farra, 35, last month after allegedly breaking into an older man’s house on January 15, taking his gun and attacking him.
They kidnapped him and took the man’s car, forcing him to get money from a cash machine before leaving him in the trunk of his car at a Rumpke recycling facility on East Monument Avenue in Dayton.
The man escaped after finding the emergency release in the trunk and went to the Rumpke facility, where he was later found hard in the break by workers.
He had sustained serious head and neck injury.
“Fortunately, the victim had the means to escape from the trunk of his car after this trial,” prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. said.
“These defendants pistolized the victim and left him for dead. The actions of these defendants, the abuse and robbery of a compliant 85-year-old man, are outrageous and disturbing. They both deserve to spend an important time in prison. “

Boomershine is now faced with further charges for the destruction of property following its failed escape
The victim identified Boomershine as someone he had recently met during the Hollywood Games Racino.
“She said she was homeless and had no money, so he felt sorry for her,” said Jeff Muncy, police chief of Miamisburg, Dayton 24/7.
“He brought her home and gave her something to eat and what not and that’s how they know each other.”
Boomershine kept returning to the victim’s house looking for more money, but he refused and so the couple decided to force his hand.

“The older person went to bed and he was awakened by this man and woman in his bedroom when the man started attacking him,” Muncy added.
Boomershine was arrested in racino on January 16, while Farra was arrested the following day.
They were both charged with aggravating theft, aggravating burglary, crime, kidnapping, gross theft, theft of a firearm and misuse of a credit card.
Boomershine later appeared in court on January 30 when she pleaded for the non-guilty and received a $ 500,000 bond.
Her victim was out of the hospital and recovered at home by the time she fell through the prison ceiling.
