The conflict with Priscilla stems from the fact that Keough and his brother Benjamin were named trustees of Lisa Marie’s estate in 2016, after serving as the sole trustee for years.

Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, meaning the fortune now belongs to Keough. Priscilla takes issue with the 2016 amendment and has questioned the authenticity of her late daughter’s signatures on the document.

Family hostility continued in a Los Angeles court earlier this year when Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61, won full custody of their twin daughters Harper and Finley, 14 years, following his death at age 54.

Lockwood had been in a contentious seven-year custody battle with Lisa Marie, which Riley sided with, as she was upset she was wasting time with her stepsisters for him.

Priscilla has been supportive of Lockwood amid recent developments as she seeks to ‘be a part of her grandchildren’s lives’, source says People last month.

Keough was recently seen in the 10-episode Amazon Prime miniseries Daisy Jones and The Six, which focuses on the 1970s Los Angeles music scene, and is loosely inspired by Fleetwood Mac.

After landing the title role in the 2019 TV adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel of the same name, the mother-of-one told the publication she “took a lot of singing lessons.” [because]’ she ‘hadn’t sung before this show.’

“We were placed in a band camp, as they called it, at Sound City in the LA Valley, which is a really historic studio that a lot of people recorded albums in, so that was a big deal. that we were able to rehearse there. We did this for several months, and it was probably our biggest rehearsal, period,’ the performer told Modern Luxury.

As for the “hardest scenes” to film, the Santa Monica native said he shot “all the musical shows in the stadium” because they were all recorded in “the same weeks in New Orleans the night”.

“We were doing shows basically from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night for two weeks, and it was very physically demanding,” Keough explained.

Reese Witherspoon, who produced the show, described the actress as “simply a force of nature on this show”.

“She took months to develop the character from the inside. Practicing vocally, practicing with the band every week for months, building Daisy Jones as a character. The bravado of a woman who is her own muse, the passion of living on the razor’s edge, and the heartache of being deeply in love with an unavailable man. All. She gave everything to life, and so gloriously,” the Oscar-winning actor marveled.
