Princess Olympia of Greece looked radiant in a blue silk dress as she took her place as bridesmaid at her aunt Princess Theodora’s wedding.

The 28-year-old model, daughter of Prince Pavlos and Princess Marie-Chantal, was one of five bridesmaids at the wedding of Princess Theodora of Greece and her Los Angeles-based lawyer fiancé, Matthew Kumar.

They wore a matching deep blue silk dress, which featured cap sleeves and an elegant scoop neckline, which all the bridesmaids paired with different hairstyles.

Princess Olympia opted for a clean, slicked-back bun and kept her makeup fresh and neutral for the royal wedding at the Athens Metropolitan Cathedral.

And she paired her blue dress with silver heels and matching silver jewelry.

Arriving at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Olimpia quickly ran to her aunt’s aid before entering the grand venue to finally exchange vows after a four-year delay.

The 28-year-old was seen adjusting Theodora’s Celia Kritharioti dress, making sure the bride was in perfect condition to walk down the aisle on Saturday night.

The couple’s twice-postponed wedding date was said to have been chosen because it was close to the wedding anniversary of Theodora’s parents, King Constantine and Queen Anna Maria, who married on September 18, 1964 in Athens.

Princess Theodora and her fiancé, who announced their engagement in November 2018, were initially scheduled to marry on the Greek island of Spetses in 2020.

But the couple, who began dating in 2016, were forced to call off the May 26 event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite not walking down the aisle that day, Theodora still celebrated with her future husband and shared a photo of her and Matthew on Instagram as they dined on Greek salad, olives, bread and cheese and shared a drink.

While posting the photo, the princess wrote: ‘On what should have been our wedding weekend, the love and support from friends and family has been greatly appreciated. “We look forward to celebrating with all of you in Greece once it is safe.”

When the pandemic finally came to an end, Theodora and Matthew set another wedding date: “early summer” 2023, in Porto Heli, Greece.

However, just a month after the Greek Royal House announced the date of the second wedding, the father of the actress Theodora, King Constantine of Greece, died.

King Constantine, the last king of Greece who was exiled in 1973 when the monarchy was abolished, had five children; Crown Prince Pavlos, Prince Philippos, Princess Alexia, Princess Theodora and Prince Nikolaos.

The exiled king died at the age of 82 in January 2023. As Theodora mourned her father, she postponed her wedding to Matthew for the second time.

The bride and groom were seen side by side at King Constantine’s memorial service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in February 2024, which was attended by royals from across Europe, including Queen Camilla, King Felipe of Spain and Queen Letizia.
