Here are some of the best moments:

Beer pong

Host Tindall seems to let out a more playful side of the Princess of Wales when he reveals her competitive side. He tells his viewers: “I saw her playing beer pong!”

The Prince and Princess of Wales, patrons of Welsh and English rugby respectively, and patron of Scotland Rugby, Princess Anne, joined the special World Cup podcast in Windsor.

The board game requires players to throw or hit table tennis balls into beer cups, and their opponents must drink the contents of any cup a ball lands in.

Princess of Wales recreates Diana Sports Day run barefoot

The Princess of Wales reveals she was forced to run barefoot during a race organized by her parents on a sports day, which many say is reminiscent of Diana’s famous run on William’s sports day in 1989.

Kate said: “Many schools have banned races between parents because they have become far too competitive.”

When asked if she would participate, she replied: “We’re done!” »

The princess added: “We were told categorically that there was no parental race. But then they had a last-minute parent race, and me, on the competitive side, we were both like…we have to participate.

She laughed and said, “So I had to do it barefoot.”

William said: “I came second. I started by running, joined in and looked around. I was quite far ahead and there was an Italian father in front and I thought I should catch up with him.

Kate: “And I ran barefoot in the same race.”

Princess Anne continued with a memory of family runs around Balmoral Square.

She said: “Running around Balmoral Square – I was really good at that because I did the turns really well.”

Kate “fan of cold water swimming”

Kate revealed: “I really, genuinely love all sports. Personally, I like to swim wherever I can.

“Swimming in the cold – the colder the better. I love that. Kind of to the point where William (says), “You’re crazy” and it’s dark and it’s raining.

“I’m going to go get some cold water.” I love it.’

Anne on pushy parents

“My worst was the gymkhanas, when I took Peter to the gymkhanas. Ah, the pain. It was a sprint,” she told Tindall.

“It was also absolutely hysterical. I tried to get him to do things more or less in the right order.

Princess Anne joined her son-in-law, former England international Mike Tindall, for the discussion.

“The other parents? I mean, we were both lying there at the end of class, howling with laughter at the behavior of some of the other parents.

“One of them whipped his child (the pony) and literally threw him over the finish line.”

William and Kate, the “Monica and Chandler” of the family

England legend Haskell asks Kate and William if they’re like ‘Monica and Chandler’ from 90s sitcom Friends as he discusses their competitive rivalry.

Kate jokes unconvincingly: “I’m really not very competitive.” I don’t know where this comes from.

She then admits: “I don’t think we’ve actually managed to finish a game of tennis together. It becomes a mental challenge between the two of us.

William says: “It’s about who can (mentally) outperform each other.

When Tindall asks if there is any visible competition between their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Anne replies: “Just a little bit, I would say.”

Kate said: “They all have very different temperaments and try all different sports,” adding that they were “obviously still very young.”

Tindall says of Zara: “I would say my wife and I have this competitiveness about everything. She would always want to beat me. She always talks about her career as a sprinter – hurdles.

Anne added: “Yes, she was really, really good.”

Anne’s Driving Prowess

Tindall uses the podcast to earn some points with her mother-in-law when her motor skills come into conversation.

Anne asks her interviewers: “Is Formula 1 one of your different sports? I drove one. I did three tours of the club circuit at Silverstone. And my only claim to fame was that I didn’t delay it.

Tindall congratulates her, saying: “She’s actually a very good driver.”

Anne, delighted, responds: “Ooh!

He added: “You are a very good pilot. Your daughter too.

William jokes: “What are you looking for?

Mike says, “Nothing, no!” But you always loved driving…’

Anne says: “We went karting, don’t forget.
