Princess Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has criticized wild conspiracy theories about his niece’s health as she recovers from abdominal surgery.

Kate Middleton spent almost a fortnight at Marylebone London Clinic after undergoing abdominal surgery, but was discharged on January 29.

Goldsmith, who entered the Celebrity Big Brother house as a contestant last night, previously described his royal niece as “beautiful” and called allegations of racism against her “nonsense”.

Kate will be away from official royal engagements until after Easter following major surgery in January, and Kensington Palace insisted last week that she was still “doing well”.

She has not been seen at any royal events since attending church in Sandringham on Christmas Day with William and their children George, Charlotte and Louis, although TMZ yesterday published a photo of her in a car in Windsor with Mrs Middleton.

Speaking on social media, Goldsmith said conspiracy theorists “should leave her alone right now because there’s a reason they’re not talking about it,” he said. Mirror reported.

And he added: ‘THey, they’re giving him some space. I just think it’s fundamentally wrong and if it were happening to anyone else, they would think about giving him some space.

“But because Kate is Kate and does such incredible work, there is always interest in her.

‘She is the number one royal for a reason and I just beg people to give her some space.

Referring to his four marriages, he added: “I’m an absolute nightmare to live with, there’s a reason I’ve had four wives.”

‘I think they are changing the dynamic and focusing on family. They have a duty and it is a privilege to have the roles they have, but family comes first.

‘You have to take care of yourself. You put on your own oxygen mask before taking care of others.

‘Kate, get better, I love you and when you’re ready we’ll see you again. That’s what we do to anyone else, why not to her?

Goldsmith, who made money recruiting and was once worth £30million, is believed to have kept his distance from the Middletons in recent years.

This is despite him attending William and Kate’s wedding in London in 2011 and then Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews in Berkshire six years later.

Goldsmith regularly speaks out in support of Kate, who is believed to call him “Uncle G”, and has previously hailed her as “the most spectacular person I have ever met”.

But royal experts fear her appearance on the ITV show is “the last thing she needs”, and said the Middleton family will be hoping she “gets the public’s approval quite cleverly”.

Tattooed father-of-one Goldsmith gained notoriety when he was caught in a drugs operation by the now-defunct News Of The World newspaper in 2009 at his Ibiza villa, the Maison de Bang Bang – crude French slang for ‘House’. of Sex’. .

He was filmed giving hard drugs to an undercover reporter, but denied taking drugs and reporter Mazher Mahmood, known as the ‘False Sheikh’, was later jailed for perverting the course of justice.

Prince William and Kate stayed at the property in 2006 and were due to return there in 2009 until Goldsmith was involved in the operation and was caught boasting about his royal connections.

The house also became famous as the scene of Goldsmith’s sordid nights of excess and his boasts of watching pornography while there.

At the time of the operation, he allegedly joked that once William and Kate married, he would have access to Buckingham Palace, saying: “I have my own rooms, the Goldsmith Wing.” I’m going to be the Duke of Slough.

But while the incident caused great embarrassment to the Royal Family at the time, Goldsmith later revealed to the Mail on Sunday in 2013 that he received a call from Mrs Middleton to apologize for all the trouble they had caused her.

He said: ‘People like to think I’m a black sheep, a bad boy. I’m not really. I’ve had my moments, I’m not totally innocent, but I don’t like my family?

‘No, that’s simply not true. I have a good heart and I care about people. We have never fought.

“At the time the story broke, Carole was on the phone apologizing to me on behalf of the family, specifically Kate, for suddenly putting me in the spotlight.”

Goldsmith grew up in a council house in Hounslow, west London, as the son of a decorator father and a working mother.

He started working as a computer operator, but made a living in sports management and recruiting.

When his recruitment company went public in 2005, he became a multi-millionaire with an estimated fortune of £30m.

It came as it was claimed today that the Ministry of Defense had jumped the gun in announcing the Princess of Wales’s return to royal duties without consulting Kensington Palace.

The official Army website has confirmed that Kate Middleton will carry out her first major engagement since her abdominal surgery at the parade in London on June 8.

Tickets are already selling on the site for the weekend show before the main Trooping the Color ceremony, which is normally reviewed by the monarch.

But while this is Kate’s first official duty to be announced since undergoing surgery, Kensington Palace has yet to confirm her attendance. MailOnline understands that Palace officials were not consulted about the MoD update.

A royal source added that Prince William or Kate’s attendance at events is always announced by the Palace, not the Ministry of Defence. But it appears the MoD hopes Kate will be well enough to attend one of the key ceremonial events in the Armed Forces year.

Only the Palace can announce Kate’s attendance at a royal event, and confirmation is not expected until closer to the date. MailOnline contacted the Ministry of Defense for comment, but questions were directed to the Palace, which also did not issue a statement.

Previously, Goldsmith criticized Prince Harry for throwing the royal family “under the bus”, defending Kate against claims she was the “royal racist”.

In an interview with SunGoldsmith said: “She is beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside and she really is a loving mother.”

‘That’s why I got so angry with Harry and Meghan, because they don’t put a stick in that speech and reinvent the story.

“I was quite upset when they took one look at my beautiful niece who couldn’t say anything for herself.”

Goldsmith’s comments come after author Omid Scobie identified Kate and King Charles as those who allegedly asked Meghan and Harry what color Archie’s skin might be before he was born.

“It’s absolute nonsense and I didn’t hide my feelings very well when I was offered the opportunity to say something,” Goldsmith said. “Kate is not 100 percent racist.”
