At the gala, chaired by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jennifer was honored with the Pride Award for championing Latino causes.
In his acceptance speech, he graciously said: ‘Thank you, this celebrates the pride of our community, that is a humbling premise.
“Thank you very much, it is not only a tremendous honor but also a responsibility that I do not take lightly.”
Jennifer has been spending time in her hometown in recent days as she works on renaming her This Is Me… Now tour.
