It was one of several outings by the Monegasque royal family who were spotted at numerous engagements last month.
The boat they inaugurated, the Saint Georges shuttle, is the latest addition to the police fleet.
Capable of reaching 45 knots, it will be useful for sea rescues and other missions.
Last week, Princess Charlene attempted to quell persistent rumors that her marriage to Prince Albert was in jeopardy, calling them “exhausting”.
Apparently keen to be seen together, this latest engagement is one of several joint outings undertaken by Prince Albert and Princess Charlene in recent days.
She only recently returned to Monaco after a solo visit to South Africa, her native country.
The trip marked her first visit to the country where she grew up since 2021.
During that visit, she suffered a serious illness that kept her away from her husband and eight-year-old twins for several months because she could not fly.

In a previous interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sierra, Albert said: “I don’t understand all these rumors, which hurt me, about us… they are lies.”
For her part, Charlène claims to be “serene and happy” in her marriage, denying rumors appearing in the German and French media according to which she “now lives in Switzerland” and that her marriage was “ceremonial”.
Speaking to South African newspaper News24 ahead of her return last month, the princess, who shares twins Jacques and Gabriella with Prince Albert, said: “I find the rumors (about my marriage) tiring and exhausting.”
Prince Albert was recently seen alone at the singles tournament on the final day of golf’s Ryder Cup in Italy this weekend, wearing a navy polo shirt with an official 2023 Ryder Cup navy cap and sunglasses dark reflective.
Albert appeared to be enjoying the Roman sunshine, smiling at onlookers and chatting with close friends.

He was photographed attending the singles tournament festivities on the final day of the cup.
And just last week, Albert was spotted on a solo outing to Munich’s Oktoberfest, alongside friends Clarissa Kuefer and her husband Michael, as well as Munich lawyer Alexander Liegl ( who is also honorary consul in Monaco) during the event.
The royal dressed the part for the Bavarian Oktoberfest by donning a brown suede jacket and matching button-down trousers to attend the event – while Clarissa looked stunning in a mustard dirndl.
The royal beamed with friends in the German city after his flight that evening, following a family outing with his children in Monaco earlier in the day.
His visit to Munich marks Albert’s first-ever Oktoberfest in Germany, although he was spotted partying at the Oktoberfest in 2020, when it relocated to Monaco for the year.
Meanwhile, these appearances come shortly after the royal couple took their children to their first day of school early last month.

Since meeting Prince Albert on a plane in 1997, Nicole Coste has played a strange role on the margins of Monegasque society.

At the beginning of September, the fashion designer posed alongside Prince Albert to mark their son Alexandre’s 20th birthday
Posing alongside her smartly dressed husband, Charlene opted for smart patterned trousers and a black jumper, while her children wore their school uniforms.
Gabriella wore blue jeans with her school top, while her brother opted for black pants. Both siblings carried colorful backpacks and opted for sneakers for their first day back after summer vacation.
Around the same time in September, Nicole Coste, Albert’s former mistress, posed alongside Prince Albert to mark their son Alexandre’s 20th birthday. They were joined by Jazmin Grimaldi – Albert’s other illegitimate child – and his other sons from his first marriage.
Before that, Nicole almost came face to face with Albert and Charlene at the 74th Annual Red Cross Ball.
