Princess Beatrice appeared cheerful as she arrived for dinner at the Scotts in Mayfair last night

Princess Beatrice was spotted dining out with friends at an A-List venue in Mayfair last night.

King Charles’ niece, 35, appeared in high spirits as she stepped into the celebrity’s favorite restaurant, Scotts.

Beatrice enjoyed a meal out without her husband, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, who may have been looking after their daughter Sienna, two.

The royal beamed as she left the champagne and oyster bar later that evening with a friend in a car.

The mother-of-one opted for a chic yet stylish outfit, wrapped in a navy coat with a crimson maxi dress.

Beatrice added a touch of glamor to her outfit with a pair of navy blue heels with a diamond encrusted toe cap.

She wore her auburn locks in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a natural makeup look.

Scott’s has long been a royal favorite, but also boasts numerous celebrity fans. It was also the scene of the infamous nose-tweaking incident between Nigella Lawson and then-husband Charles Saatchi in 2020, which led directly to the end of their marriage.

Other famous diners include Formula One heiress Tamara Ecclestone, rocker Ronnie Wood and his wife Sally Humphreys.

The seafood restaurant is described on its website as offering ‘the finest oysters, fish and crustaceans’ and also has an attached champagne bar.

The menu includes a selection of seven different types of oysters, including the Lock Ryan Natives variety at £38 for six, and Beluga caviar at an eye-watering £270 for just 30g.

Other options include an octopus starter for £18.75 and a whole grilled lobster for £70.

It comes after Princess Beatrice appeared at an event to mark Student Mental Health Week where she addressed a panel on young people’s wellbeing last month.

The princess, 35, teamed up with American company Chegg to attend the event in the capital – to champion a cause many will associate with the Princess of Wales.

Kate, 42, who is currently recovering privately after undergoing stomach surgery, has become one of the loudest voices in the royal family when speaking up for young people’s mental health and wellbeing. She has previously revealed that she and William care ‘deeply’ about the cause.

Last year, during the week of World Mental Health Day in October, the Princess of Wales took part in a series of engagements that focused specifically on student mental health – both solo and with Prince William.

But while Kate remains at home (and ‘doing well’ according to Kensington Palace), it seems William’s cousin Beatrice has stepped up to champion the cause.

Appearing at the event run by Silicon Valley-based Chegg in partnership with UK charities Student Minds, the Mental Health Foundation and Big Change, Beatrice wore a black belted tweed coat by Majé costing £535. paired with an A -line Alexander McQueen A-line skirt, tights and lace-up boots.

In a photo posted on X/Twitter by Chegg’s head of communications Heather Hatlo Porter, the royal mother is seen smiling as she chats with some young people.

When Heather posted the snap, she wrote that she was ‘so grateful’ to have heard the royal speech at the event.

She added: “Let’s face loneliness together” – suggesting the event was specifically focused on loneliness.

Beatrice’s attendance at the event follows a cause the Princess of Wales has long championed as she champions the mental health of pupils while Kate is out of commission.

Last year Kate took part in a number of events to promote mental health and wellbeing in young people.

During a jam-packed week in October, Kate undertook several engagements to promote a cause, including a visit to Nottingham Trent University.
