Peter Andre praised his “incredible” children Junior and Princess for flying 12,000 miles to Australia to visit their mother while she is going through a “very difficult time”.

The singer, 51, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of his teenage children hugging their grandmother, 88, who is battling Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

Peter, who welcomed his fifth child, a daughter with his wife Dr Emily, 34, on Wednesday, revealed he had not joined Princess, 16, and Junior, 18, on the trip last minute.

Junior, who cut a casual figure in an England football shirt and shorts, was seen putting his arm around his grandmother as she leaned back in her reclining chair.

Princess, looking stylish in a green crop top and gray sweatpants, smiled as she gave her grandmother a hug.

The teens seemed in good spirits as they spent quality time with their grandmother.

Peter wrote: ‘Junior and Princess. The fact that you drove to Somerset to be with us hours before and the days after to see your little sister’s arrival.

‘And THEN getting on a plane and traveling 12,000 miles to be with your grandmother at a very difficult time for her shows me what beautiful children you are.

‘I will never forget this moment. Thank you for being truly amazing. I love them all. Keep hugging mom for me, please tell her I love her and that we will go out soon.

Both teens responded to Peter in the comments, with Princess writing: “I love you daddy,” while Junior added: “Cherish moments like this.”

Peter shares Princess and Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price and is also dad to Theo, eight, and Amelia, 10, with his wife Emily.

It comes days after the Mysterious Girl singer uploaded the first snaps of her ‘just a few minutes’ newborn daughter and asked fans for help choosing a name.

Welcoming their baby, Peter captioned an Instagram post, which showed Emily breastfeeding her daughter and one of him in a scrub cap holding his daughter: ‘Just a few minutes old… We feel so overwhelmed at the moment. Very happy to welcome our beautiful baby girl to the family.

‘Mom and daughter are doing amazing. Born on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, he weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and is fortunately very healthy.

‘The baby has been spoiled with hugs from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo, who are in love with his new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.

‘The only thing is… She doesn’t have a name yet. Aid!

‘Thank you to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, who I adore. You both have been incredible.

‘I’m so happy. I’m just going to hug her. Thaks everyone for reading.’

And as Junior celebrated becoming a brother for the eighth time, he sent his love with the sweet message: “Welcome to life, my beautiful little sister.”

Princess also offered her support by writing in her story: ‘My beautiful little sister’ as she celebrated her newest sibling.

In your news column! In February, Peter said: “I love life and age is just a number.”

‘You can live life to the fullest at any age. But I’ll be honest: the only thing that makes me sad about getting older is that my parents are sad too.

Peter continued: ‘Although I thank God my parents are still here, I am seeing a rapid decline, especially in Mum. That part is difficult for me to face.

“Like most people, I’m so close to my parents that it’s really hard to come to terms.”
