Princess Beatrice looked in high spirits on Thursday as she strolled through the streets of Mayfair with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The royal, 36, opted for a relaxed look as she joined her 40-year-old businessman boyfriend as they headed to Marks & Spencer.

The couple, who have been married for four years, stopped by the upmarket retailer in search of a health food store and bought vine tomatoes and leafy greens.

Beatrice, daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, wore a casual oversized denim shirt, buttoned all the way to the top, and paired with a long black satin skirt.

She opted for comfortable footwear and stepped out in white Veja trainers with velcro fastening, which retail for £150.

The couple have been living at St James’s Palace while their £3.5million home in the Cotswolds is renovated.

The couple share a daughter named Sienna, who was born in 2021, and are often accompanied by Edo’s eldest son, Christoper Woolf, known as Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex-partner, Dara Huang.

Beatrice, who is not a working royal, is vice president of partnerships and strategy at Afiniti, a New York-based software and data company focused on the use of artificial intelligence technology in call centers.

Last month, the Princess also recently topped the prestigious poll Tatler Best Dressed Magazine: 13 years after she was mocked for her pretzel-shaped hat at William and Kate’s wedding.

Both Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie are said to have cried over articles criticising their wedding hats.

The society bible praised Beatrice for being “a beacon of sartorial elegance” by “combining vintage-inspired cuts with straight-off-the-catwalk glamour”, although it noted she was “the butt of many jokes” for her Philip Treacy hat.

Beatrice recently celebrated her 36th birthday and her younger sister, Eugenie, shared photos of her sister on Instagram to mark the occasion.

The snaps showed Beatrice striking cheerful poses on Instagram, with Eugenie describing her as “an inspiration” who has “paved the way” for her.

This comes after Princess Eugenie posted a series of sweet snaps of Princess Beatrice to celebrate her older sister’s 36th birthday.

Eugenie, who is two years younger than Beatrice, shared three images of her sister in playful poses on Instagram and described Beatrice as “an inspiration” who has “paved the way” for her.

The first image, taken at the Desert X AlUla trampoline park in Saudi Arabia, shows Beatrice jumping in the air with her arms outstretched.

The radiant princess sports dark sunglasses and a denim jacket, which she pairs with khaki pants and sneakers for a casual look.

The second photograph, taken at the same location, shows the two smiling sisters holding hands in a similar pose in the air.

The first image shared by Princess Eugenie was taken at an undisclosed desert location and shows a beaming Princess Beatrice leaping into the air with her arms outstretched.

Another image showed a fun-loving Beatrice in her role as aunt to Eugenie’s children and appears to have been taken at her parents’ residence, the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Beatrice, wearing a bunny-ear headband, leaps out from behind a clump of daffodils to surprise her one-year-old nephew, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who seems enthralled by his aunt’s hilarious display.

Eugenie added a heartfelt caption to her “Happy Birthday” post, writing: “Happy birthday darling Beabea! You are such an inspiration. You have paved the way for your little sis. Love you x.”

Avid fans of the royal sisters were quick to comment on Eugenie’s post, which received more than 37,000 likes within an hour.

A second international fan added: “Happy birthday Princess Beatrice! Greetings from Brazil.”

Others took the opportunity to share their thoughts on the images, with Instagram users choosing the photo of Beatrice with her nephew as their favourite.

One person, who noted that Beatrice was born on the eighth day of the eighth month in the year 1988, posted: “8-8-88 Happy Birthday Princess Beatrice. Have a wonderful year ahead. Love the last pic.”
