Prince William will be accompanied by a cast full of supermodels and TV stars on his solo trip to South Africa to host the Earthshot Award ceremony.
The Prince of Wales, 42, will head to Cape Town to oversee the Earthshot Prize presentation on November 6, alongside a host of famous faces including supermodels Heidi Klum and Winnie Harlow.
The Earthshot Prize is one of the heir to the throne’s big “passion projects” and seeks to find and improve positive solutions to the climate crisis in five key areas: protecting and restoring nature, cleaning our air, reviving our oceans, building a waste. Free world and fix our climate.
Each year, the Prince awards £5 million in prizes to those who offer pioneering solutions to the most pressing climate and environmental challenges facing the world today.
Prince William is expected to visit Cape Town without his wife Kate Middleton, who is prioritizing her recovery after completing chemotherapy this year.

But he will be joined by Klum and Harlow, who will walk the green carpet and help announce the five winners of a £1 million prize for outstanding contributions to environmentalism.
Both models have been involved in sustainable projects and have advocated for sustainability in the fashion industry. Additionally, Harlow has a range of vegan and reef-safe skincare products.
The ceremony will be hosted by actor and singer Billy Porter and television presenter Bonang Matheba.
Before her appearance, Klum said Hello! Magazine: ‘As someone who uses my platform to advocate for a better future for our children, I am deeply inspired by the Earthshot Prize’s ambition to find and support solutions for a healthy planet.
“I am so happy to be a part of the incredible evening the Earthshot Awards have in store to celebrate innovators and encourage our youth to be part of building a better future.”
The ceremony will be presented by actor and singer Billy Porter.
Television presenter Bonang Matheba will also attend the Earthshot Award ceremony.
Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, will host a series of events with actor and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha ahead of the ceremony, celebrating the 15 finalists.
Also on the star-studded line-up are Afrobeats star Davido, Tanzanian music artist Diamond Platnumz, DJ Uncle Waffles and Grammy Award winner Lebo M.
And Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, will host a series of events with actor and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha ahead of the ceremony, to celebrate the 15 finalists.
Irwin said: “I am beyond proud to be a global ambassador for Earthshot and to help advance its urgent and ambitious approach to finding the most innovative solutions to the world’s biggest environmental challenges.”
Last month, Prince William announced the 15 finalists for his prestigious annual Earthshot Award, competing for £5 million in prizes.
They were selected from a record of nearly 2,500 nominations from 139 countries, each presenting a pioneering solution to the most pressing climate and environmental challenges facing the world today.
