Prince William is reportedly determined to keep Prince Harry out of the royal family’s inner circle. As Prince of Wales and first in line to the throne, especially amid King Charles’ ongoing battle with cancer, William is said to be unwavering in his stance that Harry has no place in the future of the monarchy.
Royal Expert Michael Cole Cole has shed light on William’s determination, claiming that the Prince is “steadfast” in blocking any attempt by Harry to rejoin the royals. Cole stressed that there is no room in William’s heart to soften his approach towards his younger brother, who he believes has committed “the unthinkable”.
In an interview with GB News “American men cannot tolerate two things: their ability to drive and, of course, they cannot allow them to criticize their wives,” Cole explained.
The rift between the once-close brothers has reportedly deepened over what William perceives as a betrayal by Harry. A friend of the Prince of Wales told The Sunday Times, “They are estranged, which is terribly sad.” Another source added that Harry rarely appears in conversations with William, noting: “This year, his focus has been very much on his wife, his children and his father.”
The relationship between William and Harry has been strained since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties and subsequent revelations in Harry’s memoirs and interviews. William’s firm stance suggests that reconciliation is unlikely as he continues to prioritize his immediate family and his responsibilities as future king.
As the royal family navigates these difficult times, the distance between the brothers remains a poignant symbol of the wider tensions within the monarchy.
