Prince William showed his facial hair is here to stay when he arrived in Aberdeen today to discuss an issue close to his heart: homelessness.
The royal father of three, 42, was beaming as he arrived in the Scottish city to meet workers from across the homelessness sector.
Upon arrival, he showed off the beard that has royal fans going wild for in recent months, perhaps suggesting it’s a style choice that’s here to stay.
It marks the same week that the Princess of Wales returned to royal duties after chairing a reunion of early years this week, following her announcement that she had finished her chemotherapy as part of her cancer treatment.
The Prince of Wales’s packed day of activities is part of his five-year Homewards programme, which aims to prove that homelessness can be ended once and for all.

Aberdeen is one of six localities in the country being provided with resources to find innovative solutions to the problem of homelessness.
William’s first engagement will be to visit the Aberdeen office of Shelter Scotland, which supports people on the brink of homelessness or already experiencing it.
The charity is part of the Homewards Aberdeen Coalition and will play a key role in providing early intervention support for young people.
Later that day, William is scheduled to attend a special “thank you” event for homeless workers to recognize the role they play in preventing homelessness in the city.
Attendees at the event have been nominated by their organizations and will enjoy lunch while listening to speakers during the event.

Meanwhile, at home, the Princess of Wales has resumed her royal duties following the good news that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment.
Kate, 42, held a reunion at Windsor Castle today for her ‘Early Years’ project, which was her first such engagement in more than nine months.
She was joined by members of her family team, as well as representatives from her Early Childhood Centre at Kensington Palace.
It was formally recorded in the Court Circular, the official record of royal engagements, which read: ‘The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron of the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor this afternoon.’
It was the first meeting mentioned in the Court Circular since the princess held a round table discussion of her Royal Foundation on December 6 last year.
Two days later she held her annual carol service and attended the annual family Christmas at Sandringham, but was admitted to hospital just weeks later for surgery.
Although she has been working from home a bit, keeping in touch with her ‘passion projects’ and staff, as well as attending the men’s Wimbledon finals and Trooping the Colour, yesterday marks a significant step forward in Kate’s recovery.
