Prince Harry has received high praise from a royal expert, who says the Duke of Sussex is “doing tremendously well” as he navigates public engagements alone following his professional split from Meghan Markle.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams praised Harry for staying away from controversy since he began appearing alone at various events. According to the Scottish daily expressThe WellChild Awards in London marked his eighth consecutive solo public appearance without Meghan.
After his stay in London, Harry made another solo trip to South Africa and continued taking on engagements without his wife.
In an interview with GB News, Fitzwilliams shared his thoughts on Harry’s recent activities. “I think all of these events have gone tremendously well. They have not generated controversy,” Fitzwilliams said, highlighting the Duke’s careful approach.
Fitzwilliams also highlighted that Harry has not given any interviews during these appearances, hinting that there may be more in the works. “He has not granted any interviews. Maybe something is being planned that we don’t know about,” added the expert.
Looking ahead, Fitzwilliams touched on Harry’s upcoming docuseries for Netflix, which will focus on polo but reportedly won’t feature it prominently. “His upcoming Netflix docuseries about polo apparently doesn’t feature much of him, so what we’re waiting to see is how it plays out in the coming weeks and months.”
Fitzwilliams speculated whether Harry’s solo appearances could be part of a broader strategy for the couple. “Will there be more tours? They were, of course, in Nigeria, and he and Meghan more recently in Latin America.”
The expert concluded by suggesting that Harry and Meghan could be taking different career paths. “Is this part and parcel of a new strategy? While Meghan develops her culinary side on Netflix and Harry does it more alone.”
Harry’s recent string of successful and controversy-free appearances signals a positive change for the Duke as he continues to forge his own professional identity, separate from Meghan.
