Prince Harry, with his brother Prince William in Sandringham, will miss the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot to prevent him from upsetting his animal-friendly wife Meghan.
Their father, Prince Charles, will be in the shoot and Prince William's son George can go to catch the show.
Harry, 34, has participated in the family event for more than 20 years, but Meghan, 37, is fiercely against blood sports and refuses to wear fur.

Harry and Prince William have enjoyed hunting together over the years and have given them the opportunity to strengthen their fraternal bond.
