The outlet notes: “He can’t imagine Meghan will agree to him taking the children to the UK after everything he’s said about her apparent lack of security.”
Since Archie and Lilibet are American citizens, Harry would need Meghan’s permission to bring them to the UK, which would create a legal and emotional dilemma for the Duke. According to the report, Harry may have “a big battle on his hands” when it comes to negotiating with his wife on this issue, especially since US courts are more likely to favor granting custody to the mother.
These revelations come shortly after Prince Harry’s return to the UK for the WellChild Awards, where he gave a heartfelt speech addressing the dangers of social media for developing minds. The September 30 event marked Harry’s first visit since February this year, when he flew back to see his father following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.
