Prince Harry’s recent actions in Hollywood may indicate that he and Meghan Markle are beginning to cement their separate paths, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward. In a recent interview with the sun, Seward shared his thoughts on the pair’s evolving strategy and how they may be exploring different directions individually.
Seward suggested that Harry and Meghan’s decision to pursue separate projects could be a new approach after their joint ventures did not work out as well as expected. “I feel like they’re both taking slightly different paths to see if it works,” Seward explained. “They tried it together and it didn’t work so well. “That’s why they’re doing it separately to see how well it works.”
An example of Harry’s solo efforts was his surprise appearance in Tonight’s show starring Jimmy Fallon for a Halloween parody. Seward commented on the appearance, calling it “nonsense” but also a positive view of the more cheerful “old Harry.” she added“It’s really good to see a glimpse of old Harry… and hopefully it will resonate with him too.”
Seward also noted that taking on individual projects is a natural progression for both members of the royal family and any family in general. “It just means that they are doing things in different ways on their own, which is what all members of the Royal Family or members of any family eventually do,” he said.
In recent weeks, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have participated in solo appearances, from charity events in New York City to Meghan’s visit to a charity in Los Angeles and Harry’s participation in South African initiatives. This change has led to speculation that the pair could be experimenting with separate public roles after facing challenges in their collaborative efforts.
