A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water during a swimming carnival.
Emergency services were called to the Prince Alfred Park swimming pool in Surry Hills, Sydney, about 1.30pm on Tuesday, where they treated the high school student.
A passerby told Daily Mail Australia that the pool was hosting the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts swimming carnival at the time.
Paramedics could be seen carrying her on a stretcher to waiting ambulances.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the teenager had suffered a medical episode and was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital.
More to come.
