Primo Foods recalls popular salami product sold at Coles and Woolworths

Primo Mild Salami with 25 percent less salt, in 80 g packages, is recalled

Primo Foods is recalling salami sold in Coles, IGA and Woolworths due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.

Primo Mild salami, with 25 percent less salt, in 80g packs, was recalled on Thursday due to the presence of milk.

“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the NSW Government Food Authority recall said.

“All consumers concerned about their health should consult a doctor.”

Affected products can be identified by the expiration date (07/19/2024) on the package.

“Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the recall said.
