Klopp was sent back by Sky Sports to sing for the empty stands with his players, but the German admitted he was just thankful for a title party.

He added, “That’s how life is – you make the most of what you get. Everything would be better with fans, but we have known for six months that this is not possible.

“But I didn’t think we would do this a few months ago. I couldn’t be happier, it would be perfect if the stadium were full, but we can’t change it.

“We do it for them. Everyone celebrates at home, it is a great moment. ‘

Klopp also called the global pandemic “bulls ***” and hopes to celebrate with fans soon

The Reds’ title-winning season marks a great year headed by Klopp, whose squad has won the Champions League, Premier League and Club World Cup trophies since June.

Klopp added, “We are champions of England, Europe and the world. I know what that sounds like, but it’s the truth. We’ve won four trophies, really big ones.

“We have the opportunity to take the next step and we have to because the others are ready. No guarantee, but we will try.
