The midfielder strikes against Derby County, Espanyol and Manchester United have received the most support on social media, but what goal is Neves most in favor of?
“The Derby County target was a special target,” Neves told the official club website. “I don’t have a top five list. It’s hard to say which goals are better than others, but the top is definitely Derby County.

Neves’ roster omits some incredible strikes that have left Wolves fans off their seats, including his stunning volley against Espanyol in the Europa League round of 32.
A cross by Adama Traore was caught with a looped defensive header from Espanyol, Neves resisted a midfielder’s challenge to control the ball with his chest and hit a great volley from the field.
“I would put that over Espanyol because the Man United movement was a difficult move to do and I had to be very fast because my first touch was so bad so I had to give another one but luckily I was fast enough to to score . ‘

The Neves top five does not include any of the long range free kicks that the Portuguese have struck to the Premier League, with the midfielder firing against Brentford, Everton and Arsenal from deadball situations.
But it was his strike away to Cardiff City in Wolves’ promotional season, which Neves thinks was his main goal for the West Midlands Club.
“My main goal for the club was Cardiff, because they were second at the time and that victory gave us a very good distance from them.”
As for Wolves fans, there is hope that many more miracle attacks will come from the midfielder. As and when the football season continues, they rely on Neves to guide them to a strong league and European glory.
