The woman, from Keilor Downs in the north-west of the city, was then thrown out of the vehicle when it came around a corner just after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Ambulance Victoria told Daily Mail Australia that she sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
