Pregnant woman stunned by ‘disappointing’ McDonald’s breakfast after staff left a blunt note on her order

A pregnant woman was left upset, upset and very hungry after finding a shocking note inside a McDonald’s breakfast delivery.

A man posted online that his girlfriend “ordered a Sausage Mcmuffin at McDonalds in Maylands, Western Australia.”

‘She selected option 1 because she didn’t want Egg (she’s pregnant). All the other ingredients were clearly listed: “Sausage McMuffin: English Muffin, Beef Sausage, etc.”

But when the bag of food arrived, he received an empty wrapper and a note explaining: ‘The sausage egg has egg, muffins, sausage, cheese, it’s not for everything, so we’ve only given you the wrapper.’

‘What world! I laughed a lot, but hell hath no fury like a pregnant woman,” she wrote on Reddit.

The boyfriend explained that his partner had ordered a “regular sausage McMuffin,” not a sausage and egg McMuffin, “with no additions or deletions.”

‘Which makes it even worse!’ she wrote along with an image of the handwritten letter taped to the McDonald’s bag and empty wrapper.

Commenters turned Internet sleuths suggested theories about how the ‘McNothing’ mix-up occurred.

‘I guess the system just shows “no” next to all the ingredients. Either you did it by mistake when placing the order or it was a system problem. Show the receipt,’ one person said.

“I feel like we need to see a screenshot of the order to make sure he didn’t check no to everything,” another said.

“Looks like we have an up-and-coming comedian working at McDonalds,” a third commenter added.

In an edit, the boyfriend addressed some of the comments, saying that both the order history and the physical receipt show that all ingredients were removed, so I can’t prove that my girlfriend didn’t do this either intentionally or accidentally.

‘You also didn’t check the details in the cart when you placed the order.

“However, she vehemently denies even accessing the customization menu and I almost completely believe her.”

He added that “it’s highly unlikely that she went into the customization menu and removed ingredients one by one, but I can’t prove that she didn’t do that.”
