Pregnant Rihanna ‘might tie the knot with A$AP Rocky in Barbados’ before releasing new album – leaving fans fearful of more music delays
She recently hinted that she wanted to release her next album before the end of the year, but Rihanna fans may be disappointed.
According to a new report, the superstar’s highly anticipated ninth album could once again be put on hold to make way for a wedding.
In addition to expecting her second child, the 35-year-old star would like to tie the knot with her partner A$AP Rocky, according to Radaronline.com.
One source claimed the publication; Throwing a wedding and having another baby are Rihanna’s main focuses right now. Going on the Super Bowl certainly rekindled her love of performing, but it still doesn’t compare to what she has back home. Fortunately, A$AP is also on board.’
The report shows that the Rude Boy singer is preparing performing at the Oscars in a couple of weeks.
Although the insider claimed that “Rihanna and A$AP can’t wait to hitchhike’, while the baby is on the way, they try to figure out the best way to do this.
One solution would be to “run off in secret, or do something stealthy in LA now, followed by a big party next year.”
The big party would be in Rihanna’s native Barbados. “She wants it to be in Barbados, a super glam event, but she also wants to be able to run around barefoot,” the insider claimed.

The couple, who have been officially together since 2020, gave a glimpse of what their marriage could be like in Rocky’s DMB video released last May.
The Billboard Music Award winner looked stunning in a red dress and veil, and carried a bouquet of red roses in the wedding scene.
As for new music, said Rihanna, who hasn’t released a new album since 2016’s Anti British Vogue before her current pregnancy: “I want it to be this year, honestly it would be ridiculous if it isn’t this year.” But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.’
The Lift Me Up singer has yet to release her son’s name to the public, and now that she’s expecting baby number two, those priorities may have changed.
While she’s never stopped recording and has many unreleased songs in her vault, the prolific singer and songwriter seems hesitant to use all that material for a new album.
“(It’s) almost like trying to dress the way you used to dress. It’s like, “Ew, no. I would never wear those again.” Your taste changes, your atmosphere changes.’
